Location
We are currently fortunate enough to have access to two fantastic areas in which to conduct survival and woodlands skills training. The first is in Hampshire in the beautiful Lords Wood. The second is in Devon, not from Exmouth, in Stallcombe Wood.
Lords Wood is situated in the north Hampshire countryside. Either head to Farringdon (near Alton) or to the postcode, GU34 3ET. Be aware, the driveway of that postcode is private land and we do not have permission for its use.
There is parking for two cars toward the North West corner of Lords Wood, halfway along Brightstone Lane in a layby.
The parking that we would encourage you to use is on the South East corner, along Kitcombe Lane. While not secure, it is well away from main thoroughfares. There is enough space here for 4 cars.
Stallcombe Wood is situated a few miles from Exmouth, just off of Woodbury Common. A dense, mixed woodland, there is running water, plenty of wildlife with peace and serenity in abundance. We are fortunate to have the permission of Stallcombe House for use of the land; their postcode (for satnav) is EX5 1EX.
There is sufficient parking for more than 5 cars in a secure area very close to the wood itself.
